    MOLD!!!

    I’ve lived at Bowman Station almost 1 year. Initially everything was good, with the exception that the move-in process could’ve been timelier and smooth and the fact that my apartment was clean. It was broom swept clean and that’s about it. I had to request a pressure wash of my patio and storage areas. I also requested a chem clean of my bathtubs, but that never happened.
    The real issue is I started to notice a mildew smell in my apartment about 2 months ago. After further inspection, I    … noticed mold growing inside my unit. Maintenance came and cleaned the mold areas with Clorox and they brought in a dehumidifier a few days later. The dehumidifier did nothing but put more smell in the apartment, but didn’t reduce the humidity at all. There are lots of other details related to the humidity and mold issue, but to make a long story short, 2 months later the issue still exists and the management is only masking the problem. Additionally, my electric bill is almost twice the normal amount due to the industrial dehumidifier running non-stop!
    My lease is up next month and I will NOT be renewing!! I’ve paid my rent on time every month but some how this month my payment was returned from my bank due to a glitch. I was contacted today and was told I need to pay today or a EVICTION would be filed TODAY. No consideration for all the issues I’ve experienced the past couple months.

    We take reports of moisture and indoor air quality very seriously. Once your concerns were brought to our attention, our maintenance team took steps to address the areas identified and provided additional equipment to help monitor and control the humidity. We have also continued investigating the underlying cause rather than simply relying on temporary measures. Because these types of issues can require ongoing evaluation, we understand that the process can be frustrating, and we appreciate your patience while we work toward a resolution.

    We are also disappointed to hear that your move-in experience did not meet the standards we strive to provide, and we apologize for the items that were not completed to your satisfaction.

    Regarding your concerns about your account and recent payment, we understand that payment issues can be stressful. However, matters involving an individual resident's account are private, so we cannot discuss those details publicly. Our team is always available to communicate directly with residents regarding account questions and work toward an appropriate resolution.

    We value our residents and take feedback seriously. While we are sorry to hear that you have decided not to renew your lease, we appreciate the time you have spent at Bowman Station and wish you the very best moving forward.
