Legacy at River Crossing

One-Month Update 6/29/26:

It's officially been one month since I moved in, and unfortunately, the problems have only gotten worse. Management closed my maintenance ticket as "completed," but absolutely nothing has been fixed. The A/C still has the same issue, causing water to leak into the apartment.

Now, water is actually coming up through the floorboards when I walk, and the ceiling paint is peeling due to the amount of moisture and water intrusion. I've spent my own money on dehumidifiers,… air purifiers, and DampRid moisture absorbers just to try to keep the apartment livable.

The situation has become so severe that I now need to hire someone to determine whether the respiratory symptoms I've been experiencing are related to mold exposure.

To make matters worse, during my move-in walkthrough I specifically asked the apartment representative if there had ever been any water damage, and I was told there wasn't. Based on the condition of the apartment now, that statement is extremely concerning.

I've reached out to the corporate office because this situation has gone far beyond a routine maintenance issue. No resident should have to live in these conditions, especially after being in the apartment for only one month.

Review as of 6/9/26:

This is my review after living in this apartment for one week.

I noticed a musty smell and eventually discovered that the AC unit appears to have a leak and freezes over. Because of this, the unit never seems to shut off and runs continuously. When I turn the AC off, water begins leaking through the walls and into the kitchen area.

At this point, I seem to have two options: either leave the AC running constantly and deal with what will likely be a high electric bill, or turn it off and deal with water intrusion and no air conditioning.

What is even more concerning is that this does not appear to be a new issue. There is visible water damage inside the cabinets, along with a hole underneath that suggests this problem may have existed before I moved in.

I have reported the issue and will update this review once I see how apartment management addresses the situation. Read More

This apartment complex has so many issues, starting with management no one will ever answer the phone, they lock the lease building in the middle of the day nowhere to be found, bugs and mold are throughout the apartment.

I’ve lived on this property for six years. This property has been managed by four different management companies. This property was decent at point. However, the complex is horrible now. The trash is constantly overflowing when entering the complex. This will bring rodents if this continues to happens. They make you pay $25 for valet trash when you can just take the trash to the dumpster yourself. If you don’t mind the constant smell of marijuana, this is the property for you. The… neighbors are rowdy and constantly play music loud. Don’t bother telling management. They could careless. They want that rent payment on time though. I have a young son. I moved here so that he would not be in this kind of environment. My advice pay is pay a little more money to have a decent place to live. Read More

Management is horrible, Bugs galore, my apt was nasty and they had the nerve to send me to collections once my lease was up. Terrible communication.
