Ascend at Stone Mountain

I have been living here for a few years now and nothing has changed. The management is poorly managed. The property Manager does not address issues, safety complaints, hazards, conditions or anything. On any given day you can stroll thru the property and see over 500 cats (not exaggerating), trash pile up, power outages, breakins, and drug deals. Be careful coming thru the front because the gate is not operational and will destroy your car and the owner has placed a placard on the gate stating... it’s not their problem if THEIR gate damages YOUR car. All the appliances and things in the unit and extremely old and out dated. Many things around the unit the are broken. It you basically have to take care of a lot of them yourself. No internet/ cable signal functionality in the complex either so don’t think any o f your stuff will work lol… Hundreds of Thousands of better places in the Dekalb area - I implore you- DONT STAY HERE

The apartments are helpful, as far as. getting you in. The rent is reasonable and there is no deposit or administrative fee, but there is a conditional fee, which is, the amount that you will pay based o your credit score (not over $575). The overall complex is quiet. There is a 24 hour courtesy officer on site, as well as, a 24 hour maintenance on stand by. DeKalb County police makes various patrols via car on a daily basis to ensure safety of the school kids.
