Wildwood at Villa Rica

While maintenance and the staff are very nice, it takes weeks for thier staff to respond to emails or calls, and when they do, it feels as if they do the bare minimum to help with your situation. We paid to get out of our lease early because out of the 4 months we were there, my dryer only worked for 2 weeks, we had a dead raccoon outside our door for 4 days, and thier response to that was " call animal services because my work day is over," we paid for a gated community, and since the signing… of our lease the gate never worked, and the property was filled with broken liquor bottles, cigarette buds, and garbage (like mannequin heads). The so-called "wooded view", is just a view of the woods, with garbage like old grills, boxes, and food trash thrown over the fence. When you tour the apartment, ask to tour the "amenities." The car wash doesn't work, the dog park is unmaintained, the gym machines don't work, and more. The staff did not handle any of our requests or answer any questions promptly, if at all. Understand when you sign a lease with WildWood, you are expected to uphold your end of the lease, but they are not. Also, before signing, make sure you research the management company of Wildwood. Nothing but issues. Was told I had a 2 bedroom 2 bathrooms. Nope, one bathroom. With the movers waiting, I relented and accepted the apartment. Worse decision ever! Unknown to me, a bug bomb had been set off but no one cleaned it up before I moved in. Once in, German roaches were found in the kitchen. I called to have the apartment sprayed but after many times of spraying, they were still in my apartment. On 8/24/23, I sent an email requesting that the roach issue be addressed. Originally, I was… told I couldn’t move because of the fear of roaches traveling in my belongings. After another email, they said they had a 2 bedroom, 2 bath available but my rent would go up. Another option, my rent would remain the same but would be charged a transfer fee to move. That was the last straw. After dealing with German roaches left by the last tenant, I accepted the fact management didn’t care and moved out. By the way, I did have a new refrigerator when I moved in because the old one was infested with German roaches

I just moved here not too long ago and am enjoying it so far. Definately enjoy the amenities and cant wait to try out the pool this month. Plus side here is they keep this pool open past September! Super close to the hwy to cut time to get to work. So far no complaints here.

If you like emails about stuff the leasing office is too lazy to fix then move here. The buildings are filthy and need to be pressure washed. Trash everywhere. Gate is constantly Broken probably why our cars get broken into. They are lazy and throw fines at everyone. I can not wait until my lease it up here.
