Commons on 1st

For one, often times when you leave the apartment and come home, there is always someone asking you for money. It's not a good area. There are people who fight outside loudly, and at least once or twice a week there are cop cars outside. People will approach you in your car alone and knock on your window and ask you for things. You can constantly hear the traffic driving down 1st street. You can apartments just as nice in a better area.
It's also not "dog-friendly." The only grassy place for... your dog to potty is on the field across the parking lot that's owned by the college. If any dog potties and it's not cleaned up, everyone on the property that owns a dog pays a $10 fine even if it wasn't their dog (leads to concern that dogs that aren't even owned by anyone in the building can potty & cause this).
Because of the area and laundromat on the bottom floor, the parking lot and around the building is covered by trash.
