Not a good place to live
I’m disappointed with my overall experience living at Canary Lofts. One example is the so-called 24-hour emergency maintenance service. Our fridge broke, so I called the emergency maintenance number at 4:00 p.m., but was told they stop responding at 5:00. Even though there was still an hour left before closing, no one came to address the issue. Advertising 24-hour emergency maintenance is misleading when assistance isn’t actually available around the clock. As a result, we had to throw away... hundreds of dollars’ worth of groceries.
More broadly, it feels like management is focused on charging residents every possible fee rather than providing the level of service and support that tenants deserve. Instead of prioritizing residents and responding to legitimate concerns, the emphasis seems to be on milking every dollar they can get from residents.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We understand your concerns regarding emergency maintenance, communication, and your overall experience.
Our goal is to respond to maintenance requests as promptly as possible and keep residents... informed throughout the process. After your maintenance request was received, our team inspected the issue, diagnosed the problem, and implemented a temporary solution to restore power to the refrigerator while the necessary part was ordered. The repair is currently being completed.
We recognize that experiencing an appliance issue can be frustrating, and we appreciate you sharing your perspective.
