Doesn’t deserve the generous 1 star rating I am giving to write this review. Moved in under goldmark management, only issue we had with goldmark was water damage from a leaking sink above our unit. Then Iowa Eastview Llc took over. For 3 days without running two additional space heaters the temperature of our apartment wouldn’t get above 63. We and several other tenants had made complaints over a 5 day period. The first day an older lady called at 5 a.m to let them know the heat wasn’t working,... they didn’t send anyone out until 3pm.Today the 5th day we called rather irritated because we like many other tenants here have a child under one. The maintenance man came into OUR apartment being rude and loud and said basically we’re sol cause we’re on the first floor, so I pointed out a tenant on the third floor who has had the same problem all winter. To which he decided to disclose personal information about ANOTHER tenant to us and told us she has bigger problems to worry about than heat when she has a 4yo. Don’t even consider ANY complex under their management! You’ll have terrible living conditions, things that have needed replaced for months STILL need replaced and every time we complain we get told “someone will be in next week” I’m guessing next week never comes because nothing has been fixed, and when the maintainer man was called out on the heating unit needing replaced he blatantly told us it’s not being replaced even tho we over heard him tell the repairman it was suppose to be replaced in October before winter hit and it wasn’t. DO NOT RENT HERE!! There were nothing but problems living here, both legally and including all of the crime. It's awful and smells, plus the turn around rate for the managers is nearly every month or two. They don't care about you or your family, and only see you as a profit. 3 of my windows didn't even open and this was never fixed. Two full days I went without a toilet due to their pipes being broken. There's always broken glass. Just avoid yourself the drama and hassle and DONT MOVE HERE!
