Brick Towne at Johnston

I lived in Brick Towne Waukee for 2 years then moved to Brick Towne Johnston 10/01/22. I am staying through 07/30/26. The ONLY reason we are leaving is relocation due to work. We stayed so long because the property was pristine and thee management was responsive and had great character. Have to give a shout out to Logan! ALWAYS on top of things with a speedy solution.

The 1 br floor plan was nice and we were able to fit a work from home desk in the bedroom AND on the island in the kitchen. The… floors were laminate and super easy to clean having dogs. The washer and dryer was newer, the cabinets were huge with a ton of storage, and the closet had a ton of storage too. Our building was very close to the bike path and Johnston Middle School. This complex is a 10/10 walking your dog score. Whether that’s around the properties sidewalks, the cities bike path, or very early morning or late nights at Johnston practice soccer/football fields, this is the PERFECT place for dogs.

We never had any maintenance issues throughout our stay. The sink never clogged, the toilet always worked, the washer and dryer never broke down, the air blasted cool and the heat blasted warm all the time. The shower was huge and there was hot water in a few seconds.

There are always bad actors in every complex. Our neighbors were actually really good. The place feels super safe.

Maintenance is always driving around keeping the property and apartments cleaned up, the amenities are awesome, and management is great about handling issues in a timely manner! Overall, it’s a great place to call home!
