This is my first time living in an apartment, and so far, I’ve had very few issues with either the complex or the unit itself. The management team does an excellent job of maintaining the property and genuinely works hard to create a comfortable living environment for all residents. While every apartment complex has its pros and cons, I feel like the positives at Sterling Point definitely outweigh any drawbacks. The amenities are fantastic, and although renting is just high everywhere right now,... the overall affordability is ok.

This is the worst apartment I’ve ever lived,it’s been two months I have a problem with the fridge I can’t even feed my family,I have 3 kids,I Went to the office the manager and her assistant told me the fridge is new they are waiting for the company where they purchased the fridge to come replace the piece that’s not working,no one never come I have to order food outside for my family, every time I contact them it’s the same story. This place is horrible. I almost forgot to mention the came with... a second dirty fridge as a temporary it’s even worse than the first one,the fridge door can’t even close and making a lot of noise and not even work,I went personally in the office the manager told me the noise it’s normal to deal with because it’s temporary,I told her it not working she said she going to send somebody to check it until now I end up getting 2 fridge in my small living room.

Avoid if you can.
We lived here from July 2021 - August 2022 and I would not recommend it. Here is why. - Roach infestation from the time we moved in for about 6 months. They refused to treat or examine other units, even though they acknowledged that they could tell they were probably coming from elsewhere. I guess “luckily” we were only seeing 3-4 a night and none otherwise, but still unacceptable. What do you know - the upstairs unit moved out and they were infested. At that time they were not doing regular... inspections or sprays. - Neighbors. Everyone was nice, but many did not take pride in their surroundings. Trash everywhere, all over the grass and yards. Unpleasant smells coming from neighbors apartments, infiltrating our own. Children unsupervised and vandalizing the pool, clubhouse, leaving their bikes everywhere, running around with dogs off leash. - Freezer - our freezer was broken for four months, causing food waste of hundreds of dollars. They kept putting the maintenance off - and it ended up being a fairly easy fix. I believe we had to bring this up multiple times to management - the second time we brought it to their attention, they had forgotten about our first request. - Unclean apartment - when we moved in, multiple shelves were covered in dust, and there was food crusted onto multiple walls and doors. - Deposit - On a deposit disposition form we received they are charging us $135 for cleaning and $300 for partially repainting two walls (due to slight discoloration from where two pieces furniture sat for a year - we occasionally burned candles - and two small scuff marks) Repainting is not mentioned in the lease under charges in regards to move out. They are also telling us that they don’t usually clean or hire cleaners after a tenant moves out and that’s why they’re charging us. We cleaned when we left and forgot two appliances that were undamaged but used regularly. Our tenant portal, on the other hand, stated the repainting fee was only $85, with no mention of a cleaning fee. In that case, they owe us. We have tried to communicate with them nicely about these discrepancies - our first email went unanswered for 11 days, until we called them and reached someone that way. I still have not received a response on why the charges listed separately differ from one another. I will say, the apartments themselves are spacious, albeit a bit dated. The place has promise, but with everything we went through we were happy to leave.

Renter beware
First off let me say that the location is perfect and the apartments are great. The staff is very nice. I have been here what will be two years in November. During my time here, the only issue I’ve had is my upstairs neighbor. They have younger boys who are left unattended. Most nights I’m awakened between midnight and 4 by constant noise; running, jumping and large thuds. To date complaints have fell on deaf ears. I’ve been directed by management to call police, which I reluctantly did, and... they referred me back to management. At the direction of my lawyer, I documented the issues and asked for a release from my lease, which they denied. I’m stuck here until November when I can look for something different. I love everything about this place, but at 54, I need more than 3-4 hours of sleep each night. If you are like me, I suggest finding someplace else to rent.

The staff here have been amazing - helpful, patient, informative - from the apartment hunting stage to living here as a tenant. The apartments are really nice, laid out well, and so far easy to heat/cool.
