Valley Park Apartments

The place was built in the 50s and basically nothing has been updated since then. We have been here about 10 months and we have encountered many issues from heat and A/C being virtually useless to the sink, shower, and bathroom sink all flooding or overflowing at certain points. The sink was overflowing from a main backup in the sewer, and instead of actually fixing the issue, they just redirected the water into the laundry room, which consistently smells of sewage now. In the winter, our… apartment would reach sub zero temperature, and nothing was done about it. The “maintenance” told us to put plastic up, which was at our own expense. We, and everyone else in our building, had 50% of our belongings taken from the “storage” areas in the basement. We had 3 bikes get their locks cut and management did nothing but tell us to report it to the police, but to no avail, we are out 3 bikes. Packages are consistently stolen and mail is also inconsistent as to who gets what. We get mail for people who don’t live here at least once a week.
