Beautiful Apartment, Awful Management
I lived at Red Tail Apartments for several years. The apartment itself was comfortable, spacious, and beautiful, and I especially enjoyed the well-maintained pool area and shared amenities.
Unfortunately, the management experience was consistently disappointing. At one point, I was wrongfully accused of drug use by a staff member over the phone, with no basis or follow-up. It was shocking and completely unprofessional.
Most recently, during my move-out, I was told directly by staff that carpet... cleaning would be waived as a courtesy for being a long-term tenant. I was also assured that if I left the apartment clean, the cleaning fee would be minimal (under $100). I spent considerable time and care thoroughly cleaning my apartment—something I took pride in throughout my tenancy.
Despite that, I received only $23.88 from my $500 deposit, with over $350 in cleaning and carpet charges. When I followed up to dispute this and request more information, the staff were unresponsive and dismissive. They sent vague documentation and never addressed the clear contradictions between what I was told and what I was charged.
It’s clear the staff are disorganized, unprofessional, and primarily concerned with money—not with treating tenants fairly or respectfully. If you value transparency and respectful communication, I’d strongly encourage you to consider that before signing a lease here.
