I would not recommend living at Loryln Apartments. Management seems to only care about attracting new tenants, not the people who have lived here for years. They’ll renovate and make apartments look nice to get people to sign a lease, but once you’re living here, it feels like you’re completely forgotten.

The lack of communication and concern for long-term residents is incredibly disappointing. Whenever issues come up, management is difficult to work with and doesn’t seem interested in finding... reasonable solutions. Instead of working with residents, they often come across as inflexible and dismissive.

The property itself could use much better upkeep. There are things that have needed attention for a long time, yet it feels like they only focus on appearances when they’re trying to rent out another unit. Existing residents deserve the same level of care and attention as new ones.

Overall, it feels like once you’ve signed your lease, you’re no longer a priority. Good management should value the people who continue to live in and take care of the community, not just the next person they’re trying to move in. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t choose to live here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for an apartment where management genuinely cares about its residents. Read More

We have been living at Lorlyn of Batavia for over a year, and things started off pretty good. We have mostly respectful and quiet neighbors. Over the last few months, things have really gone into disrepair. Garbage all over the building’s common areas and outside. The hallways and laundry rooms are never cleaned. Two washers of three have been broken for quite some time and since notifying management in October 2020, a post it note stating “management is aware” placed on both washers is... extremely invalidating and disrespectful to their tenants. Our rent was raised but our amenities have decreased. The length of the washers being out of order is technically a breach of lease since the property management is responsible for all common areas and repairs regarding major appliances. Very disappointing and frustrating. The property has money to dig out and place a new pool (which we can’t use due to Covid) but cannot repair or replace more important items. I just moved here not too long ago and so far it’s not bad. The only thing I just have a problem with is the laundry room. There are three washers and three dryers for the entire building (22 apartments in one building). Other than that everything‘s great. Great location, there are a ton of stores nearby and very nice neighbors. The location is quiet, safe, and you can tell the complex cares about who they rent the apartments too. Everything is electric as known as cooking, hot water, heating.... The building is older so there isn’t modernized appliances like stainless steel or dishwasher.
