Randolph House is a cooperative living house as a part of Community of Urbana-Champaign Cooperative Housing (COUCH), which is a nonprofit organization. Residents of Randolph cook, eat, clean, and maintain the house together. This housing model is... different from the traditional landlord model as residents take care of the house and handle administrative tasks such as maintenance and membership. Additionally, any profit that would have normally gone into a landlord's pocket, goes towards improving and maintaining the house. Also, COUCH is a part of a national coop nonprofit organization called the North American Students of Cooperation (NASCO).

Each member is required to spend about 6 hours a week on coop duties such as cooking, cleaning, house labor, a coordinator position, and a weekly house meeting. Decisions are voted on by the house, so all house members have input and say. House members include students, working professionals, and community members of all ages. Members are from different corners of the world and have a diverse set of backgrounds.

Randolph House has 9 bedrooms, a full bath, a 3/4 bath, two 1/2 baths, and a 1/4 bath in addition to a large porch and attic for hangouts. There is a washer and dryer in the building and free street parking right in front of the house! Randolph has a large garden in the front yard, a bike rack, and a giant compost bin.

Randolph House rents range from $322/month to $416/month and all residents are required to pay an additional house charge for food and utilities. Food is $125/month and utilities are a flat fee of $95/month with a $15 fee for using a window AC unit. The utilities fee includes all utilities such as electricity, gas, water, internet, trash and recycling, and sewage.

Leases run from August 15 to August 14 and priority will be given to those who are looking for a longer lease.
