Amazing place to live
I have been a tenant in this building for the last 17 years. I am having a hard time relating to the previous "1" star review that was placed. The building itself is really well maintained, of course every building cannot be a 5 star luxury hotel type of feel, but you will get a huge sense of "home" being a tenant here. The neighborhood is absolutely wonderful, they have everything and anything you need. The sole building engineer has been here since I moved in and is an extremely nice,... hardworking guy, any maintenance issues that I have come across usually have been resolved the day of, or in the following few days. Contacting the office can be a pain sometimes but they do what they can do. Overall, I would recommend this building and neighborhood to anyone that wants to live in a more comfortable, relaxed environment but also wants the potential to let loose.

Worth No Stars
I wish I could give this complex a good rating. Great neighborhood, nice neighbors, but the building itself is filthy.
There are roaches everywhere, and no matter how clean you keep your apartment, they continue to invade the hallways and apartment. We have constantly asked for professional exterminators, and have constantly been ignored. The one time an exterminator did arrive, all they did was set down sticky traps, as if I couldn't have done that myself. I constantly spray the hallways... and my apartment, and there is no end in sight.
The washers and dryers are constantly broken or out of order. There are 3 washers and 3 dryers for the building, and at max there is usually only 1 and 1 working. If you call to have them fixed it takes over a week to have anything done. I have lost more quarters than I care to count in those machines.
Any maintenance usually takes over a week or 2 to get attention, whether that be in the apartment or the building. One time a top floor's toilet broke and burst, and nasty brown water ran into my bedroom through the ceiling. There solution was to simply paint over the brown stain, instead of actually fixing or replacing the rancid ceiling.
Stay here at your own risk, the building manager will sometimes get back to you, but if you contact the Office of Lamiline, you'll never hear from them.
