Nothing works and you’ll never be able to communicate with your landlord
I purposely choose this apartment because it was advertised as brand new appliances and looked beautiful. The issue is our “brand new” appliances don’t work. The dishwasher has now been broken for five months and just needs a new handle. Also, our dryer has been broken for five months and takes 2-5 cycles to dry. Maintenance has been absolutely horrible communicating with one another and keeps sending out new people who don’t know what the other person has previously tried or done or needs to be... done. We had three different people order a new handle for the dishwasher before someone finally realized it’s under warranty and none of the handles have arrived. So this probably could’ve been fixed within the first month of living here. Also, we have to email the realtors in order for them to contact our landlord. We have requested to have our rent credited because we are paying more for appliances that don’t work and have had our emails ignored for weeks. We absolutely will not be resigning and this is the worst experience I’ve ever had at an apartment complex.
Also, our kitchen sink just started leaking and since we have to hand wash everything I’m hoping it doesn’t months to fix.
