lived here almost my whole childhood now looking at it with the new owners it’s becoming unsafe having people off the street walk in and can tell drugs are a big problem as well and glad I am out but if they don’t fix problems soon these apartments will keep falling apart

Best Waukegan Apartments
Been here 2 years, and would not mind staying here long term. The building is quiet and neighbors are friendly. Rent is cheap. Everything seems to be kept up. Management is friendly and helpful. The room layout is a bit plain, but there is plenty of open space to work with. They allow wall mounting, so that's nice. Bathrooms are huge. Parking garage is nice and useful in the winter. It used to be dimly lit, but they recently put brand new LED lighting. Lobby is spacious and has two armchairs... which is nice when waiting for an Uber or guest. A lot of my neighbors are long time residents, and it seems like the turnover rate here is low, so sometimes it's hard to find a unit. Most things needed are within a quick walk, and there is a nearby bus stop. Only negative thing I have to say is I wish there was recycling here, as I would like to be able to recycle.
