Madison at Greenwood

Dream apartment Well, everything so far has been great from the staff, maintenance, cleanliness to safety of the place.this is actually an awesome apartment for young couples who want comfort of home but still haven’t found one yet, frankly if the time comes and we decide to move out it will only be that we are growing as a family and we are in need of much more space.

Honest review of my experience with The Madison When I first moved into The Madison, it was a wonderful place to live. The sense of community was strong, and there were frequent resident events that made the property feel welcoming and engaging. Unfortunately, that atmosphere has changed significantly. There have been no resident events—or even communications about upcoming events—for several months. Residents have been informed that the reason is due to budget approval issues, which is not… information that should be repeatedly shared with tenants.

There also appears to be a breakdown in communication and operational processes. Residents have experienced significant delays in receiving lease renewals and other important information. In one instance, a resident who had been attempting to renew her lease ultimately moved elsewhere because she received no communication and needed certainty regarding her housing situation.

The onsite management team seems equally frustrated. They frequently indicate that they do not have access to the information necessary to assist residents and that decisions are controlled by investors, leaving them with limited authority to address concerns. This is particularly confusing given that the property has continued to process numerous new move-ins while existing residents struggle to have their lease renewals completed.

Additionally, the door connecting the parking garage to the building has been inoperable for more than two weeks. This presents a legitimate safety and security concern. One of the reasons I chose to live at The Madison was because of the controlled-access environment, and currently, anyone from the public can walk directly into the building.

I would like to recognize Tristan in maintenance, who has been a bright spot throughout these challenges. Despite taking on additional responsibilities after much of the staff departed, he consistently works hard to maintain the property, remains responsive to residents, and approaches his work with a positive attitude and professionalism.

The new manager and assistant manager both seem pleasant and well-intentioned. However, this property needs more than friendly personalities—it requires empowered leadership, clear communication, and operational support to restore resident confidence and return The Madison to the community it once was. Community complaints I have several times submitted complaints about people smoking cigarettes on their balcony. In open air. And on the first floor. I cant even open my windows because they keep doing it and the smoke gets into my apartment. They leave ashtrays and cigarettes out as evidence but nothing has been done(it seems) to fix this issue

Mostly good I love the apartment and the location. Tenants have been friendly and easy to live around. Staff is mostly really good. I absolutely HATE the package room. It is not in my building and I rarely get codes to open the door. Also, the maintenance or office person that parks the electric cart usually parks it in a way that mostly blocks me in to the parking space I pay for and no amount of complaining has rectified that.
