Not Worth the money
Moved in September 2024. Applied online for an apartment and was shown a really nice first floor apartment; however, they changed the rent prices (after charging me all the application and screening fees) to $300+ a month. Had move in date set, and was trying to schedule movers. I called to verify some information about move- in and was told my apartment was on the first floor, no stairs. Wrong, my apartment was on the top floor. The apartment was "renovated" which consisted of new flooring and... repainting everything, but the square footage of my apartment never matched any of the layouts they had online. the floor was applied over the old flooring and they never remove the room lips in the doorway, so the floors are decaying after one year. My tub has had the "resealed" paint chipping on it since November (2 months after move in), and my washer has had mold in it since BEFORE i moved in. Numerous work orders have been placed and they are simply closed out by maintenance. The property has changed management 4 times in the 1 year that I have been here. The concrete driveways are falling apart, and residents drive DANGEROUSLY fast for the area (with sidewalks not spanning the entire complex). I have been almost hit three times while out walking. There is trash laying all around the area, although maintenance does their best to keep it picked up although they just started a valet trash service. The worst part- they wanted to raise my rent $200+ for my apartment, but my neighbors are paying $400 less than me (we all have the same apartment and features) and renewals are within 2 weeks of mine. Even better Spinnaker Court is "advertising" my apartment for $400 less than what they want me to pay. When I went to ask management to either match my neighbors rent or match the advertised rates, they were rude and not willing to budge. Also, you're required to give a 60 day notice, and in order for the notice to be accepted, you have to go into the office and fill out paperwork. Overall, for the price they WANT me to pay, it's not worth it.
