Beautiful Apartment, THE WORST Management

This review was approximately 2000 characters longer, which exceeds the maximum allowed by this site.

This is BY FAR the worst management company that I have ever dealt with. They have terrible communication, do not allow any path for getting out of the lease for any reason, lie about the condition of your apartment, charge fees that they do not clearly disclose to you at the time you sign the lease, and threaten you with eviction if you are THREE DAYS LATE FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER FOR ONLY ONE...
SINGLE MONTH!

I called them and left a message to address my many concerns at this point more than a month ago, and have received no effort on their part whatsoever to communicate with me in any way to resolve any of them.

The fireplace on the roof is broken and a severe hazard considering that the gas lines are exposed to the elements and leak from time to time, and when you bring that up to them they do absolutely nothing about any of it.

My air ducts in my apartment have issues which cause the freon to leak out about once every two weeks; causing my air conditioning to literally stop working every two weeks, and when I placed a "work order" I was told that this would be an ongoing issue for the rest of eternity apparently, and the best that they can do is keep adding freon. Every two weeks. Which they stopped doing after the first time also, even though I have put in additional work orders since. The management also knew about this issue before I moved in and despite that, showed me the apartment and very conveniently failed to mention this issue to me.

They also promised a $500 gift card upon moving in; which of course I never received, and even months later despite the many efforts that I have made to contact them have not produced any results whatsoever.

Finally, this month in particular was not the best financial month for me. Needless to say, my income changed and led me to be a few days late on my rent. Today, they sent a letter threatening eviction and responsibility to pay for all court and lawyer fees. While we are in the middle of a pandemic. BECAUSE I WAS A FEW DAYS LATE. ONE TIME! This is the VERY FIRST time that I have ever been late paying rent. This is utterly unacceptable to me and I cannot believe that this is the way they conduct themselves as an organization.
