About The Wardsworth Apartments

The Wardsworth Apartments are part of the Old North Side neighborhood, a historic neighborhood known for its outstanding examples of turn of the century homes. The Wardsworth was originally built in 1912 for housing University Students near the birth... place of Butler University, which is one block away at the corner of 13th and College. In the early 1990’s the then Lieutenant Governor Frank O’Bannon and his wife Judy lived next door to the building; Mrs. O’Bannon was instrumental in promoting the buildings redevelopment. At the Wardsworth you will be surrounded by history while living in one of the city’s most charming neighborhoods.
