My overall experience with University Village has been mixed. On one hand, they’re usually pretty decent about responding to emails and maintenance requests. Communication isn’t perfect, but they do get back to you in a reasonable amount of time, which I appreciate.
However, I had ongoing issues with their pet-screening process, especially regarding my emotional support animal. Even after providing the proper documentation, I felt like they weren’t truly listening or understanding what was... already submitted. There were moments where it seemed like they didn’t fully grasp or respect HIPAA guidelines, and I had to repeat myself or explain things that should’ve been handled more carefully and professionally.
