Evicted for Remodeling

CLK decided to kick all of us out to "renovate" I just renewed my lease as was pretty much told I was SOL and had to leave because they aren't renting or renewing any leases after 07/31/25/....I renewed at the start of May!! CAnt move me to another unit cuz I was told that everyone will be gone by Oct.

And worse is they have this in the lease so its legal!!!

Like bro I hope that the money grubbing a-holes at CLK at least fix the parking lots, and gutters and the foundation issues.

I wish I I didn’t live here

Trash. Dog poop everywhere. Removed all trash dumpsters and put in one compactor for the near 300 units some that are 1/4 mile from the compactor. “Glitches” charge you hundreds more on rent if you renew your lease.

its ok.......

I've been here for over 6 years. This review is going to be genuine. I've had no issues with the staff, though sometimes its hard to get a hold of them when you really need to. Maintenance
however is a whole other issue. My appliances are from what appears to be the 80s and desperately need to be replaced, especially the dishwasher, but I was told that won't happen until after I move out. Even when I was offered to see about a replacement and was told it would be from a unit recently remolded,... that never happened. The apartment itself is slanted....there is a huge foundation issue.

Avoid getting an apartment where the sliding glass door and windows all face the same way, there is no airflow if you want to open the windows.

My latest issue was my A/C went out on a Friday (08/18/23) I called as soon as I noticed. I was told by Maintenance that if the issue could not be fixed I would get a portable A/C unit.

That did not happen, I called the next day to get a status, and I was told someone would be out but no ETA, and no one came out. As I rewrite this review, I have called a number of times since the office opened at 1 pm and am getting no answer, my a/c still has not been fixed and we are heading into a week of 100 degree weather.

Now I understand they are using a contractor to fix the a/c unit but still..... not answering the phones, and the newest person there seems like she just doesn't care...

Our team strives to provide great service at every opportunity while... maintaining high degrees of respect and professionalism and we strive to resolve our residents' concerns whenever possible. When it comes to crime, unfortunately, we have no control over when and where it occurs. While there might be drag racing on the side main street, there is no possibility of it occurring on our property, especially with the speedbumps throughout the community. Due to the nature of your concerns, we believe this is a conversation best had offline and encourage you to call or email the office.

Poor management

Do NOT rent here! Management is awful and will do anything to take your money without fulfilling their obligations in the lease. I had squirrels making holes in my ceiling for MONTHS and I called them many times and they did nothing, and when I tried to get out of the lease because of it they said that because I called them and told them the room was uninhabitable instead of wrote them a letter saying the room was uninhabitable, I legally had no standing and they would charge me. They had one... maintenance person for the entire complex and apparently he was on leave for a while, and 60 work orders built up. The parking lots are pitch black at night and someone rammed into my car causing $1200 damage also. Packages sent in the mail get sent to the office, where you have to pick them up during their restrictive and often cancelled office hours (meaning I sometimes have to take off work early to pick up a package). I've never had a renting experience this bad.
