Beware

I paid a $300 deposit to be on the wait-list plus the $50 application fee totalling $350. I was verbally told and I was emailed a letter that I was approved. I gave notice where I currently live. Then last week I got an email from the property asking if I had any more income or the possibility of a co-signer. I said no to both. I never heard anything back from them until I followed up yesterday. I emailed them letting them know my confusion as to why they were asking these questions if I already... received an approval letter and they verbally confirmed my approval. They emailed me back and said that I am under $800 for the 3x monthly income rule so unless I can provide proof of more income then they have to deny me. I was furious at the fact that I was mislead and lied to. I had to email my situation to the office manager where I currently live Herrington Park Townhomes to see if they can send me my lease renewal so that I can just stay here. I rather stay here where the management is far better than there. I rather stay somewhere that is truthfully and will not lie or mislead me. I absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone. They are that good of a property. They should never ask for a deposit to be on a wait-list. I never in my life time have encountered a property that ask that when now. Now it's going to be a fight to get my money back. Stay away!

The owners are not nice and don’t care!

The owners don’t care about anything EXCEPT for MONEY. Make sure you keep your records of paying, etc.

NOT “LUXURY” as it says on Sign

I am a current tenant. I am forced to leave because the management staff said we did not pay anything for Feb. 2024. My elderly parents and I (disabled) went to court for an eviction. We have to be out at the end of June.

The next thing, I found a bed bug. Now, if you read up on them, it’s not because you are poor or not a because you do not clean. These townhomes are connect in one bed with 4 units attached. They have nevered offer pest control….

Early in June, the whole HVAC system was gone...
. It took them 3 days to get another unit for the HVAC in. Residents are not allowed to open their bedroom windows that are upstairs. Trust me, I called the Shawnee Fire Department of Codes and they cannot do anything.

My dog got sick recently because of the chemicals they spread in the grass, one day I had asked a man that was spreading it and are the chemicals bad for animals…especially dogs. And he said, “Yes!”

DO NOT MOVE HERE. Also, if you are behind rent, you cannot use the pool. The only amenitie they have. People let their dogs loose and some dogs will follow to your part of the TH.

I only speak Gods honest truth and if anyone asks me, I do not lie. I do not mind showing/giving my info out. This place is DOOMED!!!! I have documents, records, receipts, pics, and bank statements. This place is unjustifiable.
I pray for prospects looking for a future home to not take the chance here.
I know a lot about leasing as I was a leasing manager in my past in 2 different states.

Great Townhomes

We have been pleased with our decision to rent here. Pet friendly. Reasonably priced. Prompt and convenient responses from staff via email. Infrequent and unobtrusive maintanance walk throughs. The pool area is well maintained. The neighbors have been quiet.
