Safe and convenient!

I have recommended this complex to quite a few people. You can safely walk to just about everything you need and you can take care of all apartment business through the portal. It’s amazing! I might come back one day, for real.

Sent me a bill over $800 for new carpet

We paid a pet deposit and monthly pet fee. After we moved out we received a bill for $800 for new carpet and padding. They stayed our 5lb dog peed up the carpet. This was not true and since I have heard they have done this to several pet owners. Stay away or you will leave owing so much more. The bill was originally over $1000 but after they deducted our half of the deposit it brought it down. Rediculous. Now I have sent them a payment in November and December and they have not cashed… either check. It’s February for crying out loud!!

No return of security deposit

My lease stated that security deposits would be returned within 30 days of move-out. I still have not received my deposit back nearly 60 days later. I have contacted the office multiple times, and have been given several excuses. I was told that the contractor bills hadn't come in, that they were moving to a new payment system, that it was sent to corporate, etc.

Horrible Customer Service

I agree with the person who says the management is awful! I have been trying to look at Cedar Springs for 2 days! Have called, left messages repeatedly!! Even sent inquiries on a couple of websites. NO RESPONSE!!! I tried yesterday, Friday afternoon from 1-4 pm...
I agree if they don't care anymore about customer service & renting the property, wonder how it will be after you move in!!! They have deterred me before I even got on the property!! Going down the street where the office staff was… courteous & interested. Bad, bad, bad business!!!

Management staff stinks!!

First of all, the complex itself is beautiful and maintained well!! But the management staff does not provide good customer service!! They are rude- lazy - not courteous!!! I would NOT recommend this property to anyone!! The first impressions for me decide how things would be after renting an apartment!! Nasty nasty nasty!!
