How Is This Rating Determined?

9/1/15

Terrible in 2012

I moved in January 2012, and then 3 short months later I noticed roaches and bed bugs. I found them in the laundry room too, and apparently other neighbors had them really bad as well. The management at that time was a nightmare, and wouldn't do anything at all to control the bugs or the tenants. One of the water lines busted (the one that brings fresh water to the toilet tank), and left 2 inches of water on the bathroom floor (we lived on the 3rd floor too mind you), and was STILL pouring out,... but when I called maintenance at 9pm, he sounded drunk at a bar and told me that it wasn't considered an emergency! No one did anything about our horribly noisy neighbor either, except for the cops. We were never more glad to move away. I miss the area, but definitely not the place. When I moved out, it looked like there may have been a new management team, or possibly owners, so maybe it's not as bad now, but the place was full of bugs, druggies, and drunks whenever I lived there. Had I known it was like that before, I never would've moved in.
