The area is beautiful, but it's hard to use the clubhouse due to seemingly constant renovation. Also, they don't hold packages, so it's easy to have stuff stolen (we've had a couple packages taken in the 16 months we've been here.)

River Oak has been the perfect apartment community for me as a new-to-Louisville graduate student! The onsite staff is so friendly, kind, and quick to respond to any questions or maintenance requests I submit. I can really tell the team here works hard to keep our community safe, updated, and beautiful/enjoyable for the residents - they put in so much work, and it clearly shows! It's also been such a great central location, as I travel to both UofL campuses (Belknap and Shelby) for school and… work - I think it's such a great spot for someone new to the city, if you are looking to be central to multiple things. I am so grateful for River Oak and proud to live here!
