Just Terrible
Reported water damage in my bedroom on 8/4/25 and as of 8/15/25 repair is not completed and no indication of when repair is to occurs. Damage included water saturated carpet, sheetrock, tape, and other debris still present. Linens and other fabrics full of debris. Apartment Office indicated repair was completed on 8/7/25. Only repair was to vacuum water and place a blower for carpet. Pressed office that damage was still present and had gotten worse. Inspected and found to still be a little... wet. Holes drilled into ceiling to increase drying. Brought in a dehumidifier and two blowers. I've been sleeping in my recliner since 8/4/25 as the machines are quite loud and emit warm air. I have taken off 4 days from work in order to be present for repair. All 4 repair dates resulted in no attention and rescheduling. My electricity bill will be significantly higher due to the constant run of machines. I've lost 4 days of work which is significant to my income. Not to mention the serious inconveniences experienced and waiting for repair. Apartment complex very rarely answers phone. Email and calls to the apartment owners in New Orleans LA have not been returned. Next week I travel for work, but I plan to visit the owners of this apartment complex located in New Orleans, LA when I return and lodge an in person series of complaints provided this is a real office, or just space. As an aside, parking sucks and you might get threatened by another attendant for parking at a different building. Perfect strangers also love to sit on your patio, in your chairs and hold loud conversations after midnight very often.
