Lark Baton Rouge

I recently moved in to Scion’s Lark Baton Rouge apartments. I am very dissatisfied with the management of this facility. The cleanliness of the hallways and trash rooms are abhorrent. There is trash all over the floors and visible rat traps. I also do not think it is safe that the doors to the garage do not have a doorknob or any kind of electronic lock with key access!! It makes it easier for any intruders to access the building/apartments. Lack of cameras in the complex also makes me feel on... edge. Especially since there was a RECENT MURDER in this apartment complex, this does not make me feel safe or at home. There was also zero communication with the leasing office before my scheduled move in date, which would have helped significantly. They scheduled me to move in on a Sunday, in which the leasing office is closed. I waited outside the complex with all of my things only to find out no one was there to give me my keys or start the move in process. Lark advertises 24/7 onsite management with Scion, but when I was calling and contacting the numbers provided to me, no one would answer. I left several voicemails, emails, texts, and even called Scion group directly. The condition of my apartment itself was also very unsatisfactory. I did not get a TV in my apartment as advertised and my sink has several issues that I have contacted the complex about but have not heard a response. They really need to fix the security, health, and management issues at hand. I will not be renewing my lease or recommending this complex to anyone.
