Theater Street Apartments

Our year at this complex has been hell on earth. They forced us to move out of our unit 2 months after moving in for remodeling. Our first unit had a soldier fly infestation and was a poor excuse for a “livable” apartment. Someone got jumped right outside of our unit. Hot water didn’t work. They shut the AC off in our building in the middle of summer despite us still living there. Our new unit was disgusting, mold in the bathroom that maintenance never cleaned despite promising to. Our new unit… flooded within a month of moving in. The gates never work. Both units have extreme gnat infestations—no amount of cleaning helps. Roaches randomly appear every couple of months. Ant problems, spider problems. I honestly can’t even remember everything horrible that happened at this complex because it was so horrific. The fine print in the lease traps you in the contract in every possible way. Please, save yourself the nightmare of living here. DO NOT choose to live here, they are money hungry people that take advantage of you. This apartment complex has a very bad name for themselves and the management is horrible. They may seem nice at first but it's all a show. They're nothing but spiteful and deceiving. The apartments are okay however the "cabinets" under the sink do not close properly and on top of that it's not a real cabinet so you have to put your supplies on the floor. The paint on the cabinets are always peeling off. Don't… even try to put in work requests as they took a month to fix my air SO I couldn't even stay there even though I had to pay rent. Only a portable ac was provided that can only blow air while being attached to the window so it can't be moved in any of the private rooms. Every time I called they always said they were waiting on a part. They are two faced people that don't care about your living standards. But let that be them thats living without air for that long. Don't even try to call them about any problems you have as they choose when they want to answer the phone. If they see something that needs to be repaired that will take forever but will be quick to charge your account for minor things. They never take matters seriously when it involves necessities. Do not recommend this place. Stay away. The management has a contract with a towing company. They will tow your car for no reason and all they say is sorry. Although they have records of license plates from their paying residents they will tow your car. Then blame it on the towing company. They troll around everyday looking for cars to tow. From other research, this appears to be a dangerous place to live.

Love living here! Everything is great! Maintenance takes some time, by other than that I like it here!
