Town & Country Apartments

I lived at Town and Country for 2 years, and enjoyed it for the most part. The apartments were spacious, I never had any issues with maintenance or the leasing office.

However, the end of my 2nd year, and lease, left me incredibly frustrated and stressed. I emailed the front office about 2 months before my lease ended and let them know I would like to renew for the same unit. A couple days later, they emailed me back saying to call or come in person to the office and talk to the manager. I... called a week after this to talk about renewing my lease, but the manager was not in the office. I was told she would call me back the following day. The manager did not call me back, and I heard nothing for the next month. I figured since the office never reached out to me after that there was nothing stopping me from renewing.

About 3 weeks before the end of my lease, I went to the office in person, and the manager told me that my apartment was on a list for non-renewal for repairs/renovations. She told me I could transfer to a new unit, which would be about $200 more per month than the unit I was in. The office effectively gave me 25 days to either find a new apartment complex to live in, or pay over $200 more per month for a one bed one bath apartment. I, thankfully, found an apartment on such short notice and moved out.

When I turned in my keys, I asked about my security deposit and was told that I would hear something in the next 30 days, as it was corporate's decision. I called a week after the 30 days was over and was told, again, the manager would call me back after the weekend. She did not end up calling me back. It has been almost 2 weeks since I should have received my deposit back, yet I have heard nothing.

Because of everything mentioned, I will not recommend Town and Country to anyone. This entire situation has been incredibly frustrating, especially when I have been the only one communicating. Please make sure to inspect your unit prior to moving in. Although, they are really spacious and nice. These apartments are DEFINITELY roach infested. They also need to be renovated. If it wasn’t for that then they’ll be good to live in.

We Are Loving Are New Place, My Husband & I and Our 2 Year Old Just Moved In Last Month, It Was A Easy Move Love The Apartment and They Are Kid Friendly and Our Neighbors Were Very Welcoming and Always Polite In Passing

Great apartments lovely office staff and the maintenance team is amazing

I love my apartment but however,I do have a slight roaches problem. Also the stair well area needs to be clean it so many spider webs and trash as well. I love the property manager and staff they are very friendly and will try to get the job done. But if they can get rid of the roaches and clean stair area, it be a nice place to stay.
