Rats becoming an issue!!

Trash pickup has changed they removed the dumpsters & pick. Up trash two days out the week they ask us to leave the trash out back now so it’s been attracting huge rats to peoples apartments ?? I’m not sure how to get in contact wit the property managers because I pay rent to a private owner but they need to change this asap I see why rats are hanging around it’s like we leaving meals out for them it’s frustrating
