Feel at home in Bell Buoy, a charming cottage located in the heart of Bearskin Neck. This seaside property offers stunning views of Rockport’s waterfront, including Front Beach, Folly Cove, Motif 1, and Rockport Harbor, with a rooftop deck perfect for watching the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean.
This cottage features a spacious living room with nautical accents, antique ship replicas, and ship instruments. A floor-to-ceiling field stone fireplace connects the living room to the dining room, which has a spacious table seating 6-10 people. The fully equipped kitchen includes full-sized appliances: a dishwasher, a new stainless-steel gas stove, and a new stainless-steel refrigerator. Upstairs, a cozy reading nook with a daybed awaits on the landing. The cottage has two bedrooms, two bathrooms (one full with a shower/tub combination and grab bars, and one half with laundry), a breakfast deck with seating for two, and a large roof deck with tables, seating, and lounge chairs.
Free parking is available. Guests can pull over on North Road to unload their car and then proceed to one of the free parking options, including the lot off Old Harbor Road (0.1 miles away, resident-only during high season May-October), or lots at the Train Station and 2 Blue Lane Road on Rt 127, which offer free shuttles back to downtown Rockport. During winter, meters and kiosk parking are free. On-street parking outside of meter and kiosk areas is free year-round. A luxury Pack-n-Play or other children's furnishings are available for an additional charge as availability permits.
Bell Buoy boasts a fabulous location, just a 2-minute walk to the closest restaurants and shops, offering easy access to fishing spots and ice cream shops. All the delightful venues of Bearskin Neck are mere moments from your doorstep, and downtown Rockport is equally convenient. It's a short stroll to Rockport’s downtown, the Shalin Liu Performance Center, art galleries, Rockport Harbor, and Front Beach.
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited, and guests will be fined and immediately evicted for violations. No parties, events, performing artists, or bands are allowed at any time, as these are grounds for eviction with no refund. Guests will be held liable for any damage impacting the ability to offer the home for future guests. Quiet hours are between 10 PM and 8 AM. Guests are expected to honor house rules to be good neighbors and respectful visitors, including respecting quiet hours, not hosting events or parties without approval, following the law, respecting boundaries, and following parking instructions. Guests are expected to treat the home with respect, use appliances and amenities for their intended purpose, be neat and caring, park in designated areas, not tamper with safety sensors, and be careful around wet area amenities. Violating house rules is grounds for terminating the agreement. Minimum age for guests booking properties is 25.
