Mice Problem

Spacious apartments but they recently got a mice problem and they are practically doing nothing about it. At first it was one mice in our unit, and they sent an exterminator who said he saw no holes anywhere and he left a "trap". Fast forward a month later I am walking down the stairs of the building and see mice run from one unit into another unit. Just in july alone,
I have caught 3 mice in our apartment unit using traps I purchased myself, and every time I call the office they tell me the… exterminator is coming at the end of the month and only comes once a month. No apologies about the issue, whatsoever.

Noise and Infestation

This is old, three story apartments. On the first floor there is a trash storage room, so there will be some bad odor issue. The other problem caused by this, is mouse infestation. You will have a continuous fight to keep it under control. They have contracted ORKIN, but they just drop traps in front of your door. The rest is on you. You will never get rid of them completely, but if you do nothing there will be an army of them. You will need to vacuum a lot of their excrements. If there is a… neighbor above you, there will be a problem with noise (kids will make it a nightmare). Every tenant required to cover 80% of the floor with carpets. It DOES NOT help. The ONLY good thing about this place is Elementary School. Riderwood is great. We went through all of this just because of the school, but finally gave up.

Ruxton Village

I love living here! The neighborhood is safe and quiet. The kids are able to play in a safe community. The parents and adults look out for each others children. The maintenance staff is AMAZING! I cant say enough about them. You submit a request and it is fixed in less than 24 hours...every time! The staff in the leasing office are very friendly and courteous as well.
