Damascus Gardens

I have been living here for four years. Unfortunately I have not been able to move due to rent being extremely expensive else whwre and I am a single mother with 3 children. I work full time and I have to.come home every night to a mosh of people sitting in front of my building. I literally call the police 3 times a week to come and remove these people from loitering infront of the building. Not only that but maintanence is a huge problem. Nothing is fixed when it is suppose to be... I had a... flood with my water heater and I called Monday morning on the emergency maintanence line, I came home that night there was still a huge puddle of water soaking in my carpet. I called Tuesday morning, and requested someone come out because my children have asthma and that this was an emergency. Came home that night and they still had not come. I got a mold test for the carpet and it tested posting at that point I complained and they decided to only remove that carpet and leave a fan over night...... This community is great if you need a stepping stone until you can afford a more expensive place but this is not somewhere to raise your children long term... Run away people, run away. Read More
