The Apartments at Jefferson Chase

I have lived here for four years and each year it gets progressively worse. Multiple times there has been a leak from the apartment above me and it has taken over a month for anyone to come out to fix the issue, which has turned my ceiling and walls soggy and damaged my closet full of clothes! There is an ongoing roach infestation in at least one building, and I have neighbors that get earwig infestations every spring (which are attracted to rotting wood). In the lease it states that there is... likely mold and asbestos in these apartments and they are not liable for any health issues you develop from that. The newest property manager okay, however she is unlikely to reply to emails and will promise to resolve issues but then "forget" about them. There is only one maintenance person on staff who will promise to "come back later today" to finish a repair and then never return. Insulation is lacking throughout the entire apartment, which means your electric bills will be high and you can both hear and SMELL your neighbors through the walls (especially not a great for the bathrooms)! Previous management would only raise the rent 0-3% per year (which is why I have stayed), but the newest property manager wants to increase rent over 10% for a lease renewal! I've lived here for about a year and was impressed to see how nice the renovations were when I first visited. It's really easy to get to 70 and 270 and also close to lots of shopping. The community is pretty quiet and it's a good value. I really have no complaints.
