Great location, but trash is overflowing all the time

The property looks fine from the outside and is at a very walkable location. Still... I walk by the property all the time and I see trash overflowing from the collection area all the time, often leaving garbage exposed on the sidewalk where I walk. Unsanitary, and not a good sign.

very walkable secret gem

I found this apartment by luck when I was still a student. The rent is cheaper than what you will find in the area and perfect for a graduate student. The building is old but surrounded by large shady trees and each apartment has large windows that catch a nice breeze. The town owns the building so maintenance is quick to respond although they don't always fix things right the first time. Located in the center of the town, its easy to walk to the parks, the library, the gym, the pool, the movies... , and to the grocery store. The apartments do not have a dishwasher and the washer dryer is in the basement. The neighbors are friendly and like to look after each other. Also, there is a lot of public transportation options with frequent buses to the metro ( 2 miles away) and the mall.
