If you’re a Howard student or a student in general please do not make the decision to stay here! Management is money hungry always cooking up new ways to charge more fees without upgrading the quality of the building. Management is unhelpful. They have a pest problem and their tow company will tow you without reasoning and the management team will refuse to help.

Spacious rooms, on major thoroughfare convenient to Metro bus & rail, shopping mall, schools, banks, parks & trails.

I love the staff. They are very supportive and friendly. I love the amenities, my living space and the noise level is really low to none. When and if I ever move, it will be to a house that I own. It hard to find a place that offers what Avondale offers at an affordable price.

Location. Location. Location. People friendly, family oriented, nature, and easy access to public transport and shopping. Convenient and good architecture.

This community is run very sub par. It is not a luxury building, but the bare minimum is done to maintain cleanliness and a positive environment for residents. Two out of the three employees in the Leasing Office are rude and nonchalant. Water and electricity are constantly go out. Litter, urine, and noise is prevalent in stairways, hallways, parking lot. It has bee in the high 80s all week and we are told there is nothing they can do to turn the A/C on. I woke up with a nosebleed from the heat... last night. I'm moving at the end of the month after my lease ends. Several residents I have spoken to on my floor say they are doing the same. Would not recommend. Might as well pay a little more money to live somewhere cleaner, better maintained, and with management that actually cares about its residents. Read More
