Yasmin- leasing agent is amazing

Yasmin has gone above and beyond for 3 of our clients now during move-ins. She has been expeditious, kind, and very solutions oriented. The units at Charterhouse are all clean and well cared for. I highly recommend this property and working with Yasmin!

Find someplace else, I'm going too.

There are a lot of nice seniors here and if your money is funny you may not have a lot of choices.

1. The noise level. All hours of the night and early morning.
2. No matter how they clean, some people are just nasty.
The trash room on my floor is horrible at times. When
you open the door you get a shock. "Certain tenants"
throw stuff all over the floor. Food, broken bottles. This
feeds the mice and roaches. No matter how many letters
posted on your door asking tenants... to stop, this behavior
continues.
3. The last couple of months, the elevators have been going
out. Yes, the repair company is quickly called but it is
happening so often they should move in.

Poor Customer Service

The Charter House is located in downtown , Silver Spring , area public transportation, restaurants , and are in walking distance, the Charter House Apartments has fall very short since they changed managements a few years prior. The current management, I found to be very unprofessional often times rude to residence and customers..

I would suggest that the employees from head manager down to receptionist should take a class in "Customer Service"

this is a very lovely senior efficientcy,one bedrooms,and two bedrooms community.large apartments.utilities included.Ac,Gas,and Elec.great location,nesttled in the heart of downtown Silver Spring md.connvenient to many bus,metro train stations,Restaurants,and shopping mall.reasonable Rent.Come and enjoy.

The Charter House

A senior community located in downtown Silver Spring, Md. Convenient to shopping, movies, restaurants, library, church ,parks, hotels, transportation near by schools, hospital, and much more. All within walking distance. The apartment building is an old historical landmark that has been here for many years. The apartments range from efficiencies to two bedroom and two baths. My unit is a 700 square foot, one bedroom unit with a balcony off the bedroom. While the view is not the most... spectacular, being able to sit on the balcony for morning coffee and read the paper is great. I can house 10 for dinner but not with a lot of movement. For the price the amenities for seniors are not bad. If one would like more than certainly pay the enormous cost and get more. For those of us that are living on a fix income, the Charter House is comfortable .
