The Fields of Silver Spring

When I first saw this apartment I was really excited. They have another location in Rockville which is what I first wanted but this one was more convenient location wise at that time. My brother and I rented a two bedroom. We both got parking passes and no visitor pass. So all our visitors had to always find street parking which is always limited. If I come home after 10pm there is a high risk of no parking at all because the complex is very big and the parking lot is small. So I end up looking... for parking on the streets which I never find any around so I end up going very far and walking a long distance to get home. The washers are always out of order and sometimes it does not spin the laundry so when u take it out to put in the dryer, water is still dripping. This is the only laundry for the entire complex so it is always parked. If you leave your clothes in the washer or dryer a few mins longer you will come find them sitting out cause someone has already taken them out. The pepco bill is ridiculously expensive even if you are hardly home. Our pepco bill was always close to $350 a month. The AC functions mostly at extremes. The people at the leasing office are not very helpful. Once I parked in front of the leasing office and my car won't start. I just needed someone's car to help me jump start mine because I already had the jump start cable. No one in the leasing office will help saying they can't leave their tables even for 1 min. I had to find someone on the streets to help out. The apartments are clean and somewhat quiet and very convenient for travel but I want something better when it comes to services. Read More
