This was the place I called home for 3 years. If not for needing a house with a yard I would stay forever. Pup friendly, great location, and now even better with Starbucks and Bobcat Bonnies directly across the street. The heated garage and stunning loft drew me in immediately. My unit had the old factory safe that was turned into a storage closet, and awesome rounded windows with the exposed brick. I love a building with history and charm! You get what you pay for here. The staff are always… responsive and the building is upkept. Justin is head of maintenance and also helped with somethings that were not in his normal scope, but just courteous. My partner, pup and I are going to miss the accessibility and the amenities, but we get to keep the memories built here. Great job to this team. Thank you for making our entry into Michigan great. Don't even bother with these. I was continually lied to during my dreadful year I was stuck living here. There was a water heater in my apartment that needed to be replaced for over 4 months, which was confirmed by a Consumers Energy employee. They lied to me every time I asked for it to be fixed until it completely broke in the middle of the first COVID-19 lock down and left me without hot water or heat for 2 weeks. Don't even bother looking at these. I was continually lied to about a defective water heater that needed to be replaced for over 4 months. It was so bad the a worker from Consumer's energy commented on it when turning our gas back on and he was hushed by the building manger in front of me. It finally completely stopped working and took my heat with it in the middle of the first COVID-19 lock down. It took them two weeks to replace and I had to leave my apartment during regular business hours… multiple times because of the gross incompetency of the maintenance staff. My apartment is Amazing! At first I was a little skeptical of moving to the capitol city but it has been an amazing experience.
The exterior lofts here are awesome. They utilize the industrial architecture of the exposed brick but with a new twist. Each unit has brand new stainless appliances as well as smart phone controlled lighting and thermostat.
Lastly the the biggest selling point to me was that no two were identical and each have characteristics that make it your own!
