Greenspire Apartments

I’ve lived at Greenspire for about five months with my husband and daughter, and overall, we’ve really enjoyed our time here. The property is gorgeous — driving in off Centre through the trees feels instantly calming, and the walking trails are always well-maintained. My daughter and I loved being able to walk to Biggby for coffee in the mornings and enjoy some fresh air. The staff have been wonderful to work with; Amelia in the leasing office went above and beyond to find a unit that matched… both our budget and our short-term lease needs.

The only drawback for us was laundry access — our building (an older one) has just one washer and dryer for six units, which made timing tricky, especially with a baby. We ended up using the nearby laundromat instead, which worked out fine. That said, we were aware there were no in-unit machines and could have toured the building beforehand, so it was more of a learning experience than a deal-breaker.

Overall, Greenspire is a peaceful, well-kept community with friendly staff, beautiful surroundings, and a great location. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a calm, convenient place to live in Portage. Read More

I’ve been at Greenspire for five months and can say the community amenities are a standout feature. The pool is exceptionally well maintained and managed — never overcrowded, always clean, and the pool deck had enough space for our family every time. The leasing team organizes community events like pool parties and pick-up pickleball or basketball games, which made the social atmosphere here really enjoyable.
On the unit side, we lived in an older building which had it’s quirks but that wasn’t… unexpected. Maintenance was quick to respond when needed, and scheduling was flexible — I appreciated being able to select specific days and times.
Location is excellent — easy access to Centre St. Tap House, groceries, and major routes — and the grounds are well maintained. For anyone looking for strong amenities, a social community, and responsive management, Greenspire delivers. Just know that the older buildings come with some quirks, as expected. Read More
