Well-Managed, Beautiful Apartments with Outstanding Staff
I’ve had a great experience living at the Markham Apartments. The building is very well maintained, and you can tell there’s a lot of care put into keeping everything clean and running smoothly.
The kitchens are beautifully updated, and the heated underground parking is a huge bonus during the winter months. The amenities are excellent — the fitness center is well-equipped, the party room is great for gatherings, and the elevators are reliable and well kept.
Maintenance is outstanding —... requests are handled quickly and efficiently. Steph, the manager, truly stands out. She is phenomenal — attentive, proactive, and genuinely cares about the residents and the property.
Overall, it’s a well-run, comfortable place to live with great amenities and management. I would highly recommend it.

False Promises Pt. 2 (from a different person & current resident)
Still one of the most disappointing and frustrating experiences. It took the apartments ~6 months to fix the parking lot. We had to park in the neighboring church parking lot for weeks and weeks. It was a really fun to navigate with a newborn. The inside renovations took ~6 months and they're still not complete. The 'hotel room' for guests is JUST NOW being worked on. Things we were promised and that sold us to rent here. We moved here in March. The actual space inside of the apartments looks... nice, but they are very cheaply put together. The cabinets always stick to where you can't even shut them and in a lot of spots the laminate wood floors don't even touch the walls. Our balcony door is the only thing not new or fixed up and it's very noticeable how old it is compared to the whole place. It is also not the easiest to open. Minuscule, but the elevator ride takes 5 minutes to get from floor to floor. The front desk staff was absent on maternity leave for 3 months and they had 1-2 replacements for a total of ~5-10 hours a week and even then I would find they weren't there as listed. Not ideal when you need help with something and definitely not attractive for people wanting to live here. I wish they were more organized and had more realistic/actual promises for these apartments. I want out sooner, but I don't want to move in the winter.

False promise
The Markham was one of the most disappointing and frustrating experiences I have ever had. My husband and I went to tour the space in December and were promised that the hallways, basement and our apartment would be finished by February. In those two months nothing got accomplished. Literally the hallways still have wires hanging from the ceilings and coming up from the floors. They were full of empty promises and completely lost our trust. Kleinman Realty is the owner of this building and my... husband and I will be sure to not rent an apartment from them. The only redeeming quality to this experience was that we got our money back (after asking) after they couldn’t provide what they promised.
