My experience at Northwood Villa has been exceptionally positive. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and support. The staff does an excellent job of creating a friendly, family-like atmosphere.
The apartments are spacious, well-maintained, and thoughtfully detailed. Kayt provided a thorough and informative tour of the property, clearly outlining what living here would be like and answering all of my questions.
Northwood Villa is certainly at the top of my list as I... consider my next move. Thank you to the entire office staff for such a wonderful experience—I look forward to submitting my application soon.

I would not recommend.
I would not recommend. Also, be sure to read your lease. There were things I wasn't told and when I asked they said, "it's in your lease."

Wouldn't recommend anyone living here unless you're desperate
Been here for 5 years and will be moving out before my lease ends just to get out. The first year and a half were really good, no issues. After that downhill. The smoking is horrible it fills your apartment up so fast from other units, the weed is never ending, the bugs and the best yet all the floods and back ups. They will not replace any of your things that are damaged or destroyed they barely call you when these type of things happen. I've had 5 floods and back-ups in the last almost 2... months and the worst of the 5 I was told to put a towel around my toilet don't flush it or use it and they'll be there tomorrow to take of it, water gushing out the bottom all over carpet and floors. They never once replaced the carpet or floor padding underneath which I am sure has mold underneath. Every time you go inside the apartment you immediately get plugged up. Don't bother calling corporate for anything because he is way too good to return your phone calls to deal with issues he sends it back to the management you're already having issues with he could careless what's going on. The assistant manager is rude smart and very disrespectful. Pest control has to keep coming out and not getting rid of the problems, Just like them not paying the money to fix the plumbing issues to stop the floods. The walls are way to thin you can hear the neighbor turn over in her bed, the floors above crack and creek loudly when they walk throughout the apartment. The only thing they care about is the pools and the grounds that's where all the money goes. There's a no smoking sign in the buildings but the smoke never ends they don't care if you have health issues or not. A place I once liked living is now a nightmare from hell and Management doesn't care. I feel sorry for anyone who has to live there.

1 year lease+ ongoing
Considering that the buildings are so old— the walls/floors are so thin, you hear everyone else in the building. I love on second floor– The floor creaks when you walk, you’ll hear neighbor upstairs walking day and night, also downstairs you’ll hear neighbors below you talking too. Supposedly this is a smoke free building, but I can guarantee you people smoke in their apts as the hallway stinks like cigarettes daily, many other times also like smoking skunk. Rent each month is way too much for... the quality of the apartment building which is ridiculous, also the street right in front of the apartment’s terrible during the winter time going into spring. HWY 696 is right behind the apartment building, so if you live inside the unit that’s facing that direction, you’ll hear the sound of the freeway all night while you sleep. If you have kids, be sure to keep them away from the street as the speed limit is 40 MPH. During winter time, heat is automatically turned on for you, you actually have no control of the heat so I would leave the window cracked a little as I cannot sleep in the blaming heat! Pros about this apt: It’s in a quiet neighborhood, close to common shopping areas, freeways, and gas stations. Living apartments, you’re always going to get noises and things like that but that’s part of living in apartments. I would have some friends over for dinner at times and my neighbor would give me such a hard time because he would hear us laugh a little too much. If you can’t stand noises of your neighbors, don’t seek apartments!

4 Years going onto 5
The Good - *The location is not bad since it's close by highway, grocery stores, fast food and Mall. *The lawn is always being taken care of every summer if you're in a "smaller building". *The building hallways are fair as to the cleanness. *The parking lot is big enough for residents and visitors. *Glad they have a Fitness Gym after 3 years living in North wood Villa - located in the main office building.
The Bad - *Another "reviewer" mentioned about main drain line backed up in the... kitchen sink and flood the kitchen - we had this problem and we called for maintenance and was told that it maybe a few days. It was the 5th day from when the sink flooded and the washer was leaking(more like flood) then we contacted the office and the office mentioned they will send maintenance out again. *Office staff don't provided consistent information. We were looking to rent a garage during winter and was told that "we can rent and cancel anytime since that what most residents do", so we rented and then cancelled the garage during the summer, but was charged and told that we will have to continue to pay for the garage until our lease ends even though we have already returned the garage keys (without the office staff mentioning a thing) and not using the garage. *If you live in a bigger building then the front lawn will look presentable, but the back lawn looks like it needs more water/grass in the summer. *The swimming pool needs a cleaning, its always disgusting. *Need more laundry washers/dryer as some residents are not considerate of others using it too. Some days you will wait hours to a day to wash clothes. The office only sent 1-2 notices out to residences about being mindful for the years we lived here, so if you live here make sure to do your laundry in the morning 8AM. *The Recyclable Bin is not big enough, it creates a mess outside the dumpster. *The water is hard here so make sure to always clean your toilet bowl. *If you have a small child then the hall ways sometimes smells like skunk or something died so make sure to have buy a door cover so it don't smell to your apartment. (a few times a notification was sent to all residence, but it still continued)
You will hear folks up stairs and kids running like crazy, folks talking outside the hallways and music, and crazy people screaming outside in the middle of the night. These are things that I don't rate as these are things that comes along living in an apartment.
