Woodbury Park at City Centre

I enjoy living in this townhome as it is a quiet and clean place. They also have a great pool and lounge area!

Nervous when I first moved in reading older reviews but they’re ok to live in. I renewed for one more year. The new management in leasing office and maintenance guy is great.

Cons: Appliances are out of date, 1997 to be exact in our model we’re living in, dryers are money suckers unless newer models. Windows have leaks so AC/Heat runs like crazy unless you buy stuff to stuff the gaps. They find new ways to make money off resident's, for example parking permits for your cars that aren’t in the... driveway/garage.

Pros: pool. Located near a lot of things. There’s new management in the office and they got us a new washer right away after emailing the old management for months about our old unreliable one. Office people sound nice!

Overall a doable affordable place to live in but they are about 27/28 years old with many old appliances still that will cost more $$ when rent and utilities are due. Check appliances and foundation during your walk through, I wish we did! Read More

New ownership seems to be making a lot of upgrades. We love our unit. Its quiet and peaceful in the neighborhood. Very close to all the shopping in the area.

We have been here for about a year and a half. The amenities are great, we just wish the game room was open 24/7 like the gym. The community itself is quiet and the neighbors are nice! Maintenance requests were full fast and communication was good. I would recommend this neighborhood!

We lived here for 4 years, from September 2020 until August 2024. We rented a 2-bedroom townhouse for our family of 3. Maintenance was good. The pool was a very nice feature. Unit was fine.

One winter, the snow was not plowed adequately for a few months, before a responsible snow removal company was hired.

Otherwise, my only major complaint is that we were charged over $500 for carpet removal upon move out. We spent several days cleaning the apartment before returning the keys and everything... was in excellent condition. The carpet was in good condition with no damage of any kind.

In Minnesota it is against the law to charge tenants for regular wear and tear of carpet. We talked to management at Woodbury Park at City Center apartments and they acknowledged that was no damage to the carpet, and that replacing carpet between tenants is their routine operating practice.

In other words, management admitting breaking the law, but refused to return the money that they stole.

It's not worth hiring a lawyer to get back the $500, but I wanted to at least warn other potential tenants. I wouldn't say don't rent there, we generally had no problem. But be advised that they will break the law and steal your money if they feel like it. Read More
