TERRIBLE
(UPDATED)
DO NOT MOVE HERE. BAIT AND SWITCH.
This has been the most unprofessional, experience I’ve ever had.
I moved in this past August and am continuing to have issues.
On move in day my dad arrived to pick up the keys and had to wait because he was told the apartment was not ready yet. Upon my arrival I could tell why. The apartment hadn’t been cleaned and the dozens of damages from the prior tenants were not fixed.
The floors had clearly not been vacuumed and smell like cat urine.
Our... shower head had mold growing on it.
The shower had hair and grime built up in every corner.
Our cabinets are all peeling and part of one is burnt from a toaster.
The floors have giant scratches in the living room from a dog. As well as the back door.
We have a screens missing from windows. Along with some of the windows not being able to open and shut properly.
Our dryer did not work for almost four weeks.
Our dishwasher after a few times of use was leaking water all over the kitchen.
Our couches have holes in the fabric.
The shower stopper was broken and unable to lift.
We had been told that multiple things would be fixed and they haven’t.
It took four weeks for our dryer to be properly fixed. The shower was not thoroughly cleaned. After one week we had a Phorid fly infestation from the garbage disposal… and dealt with this for weeks. In time I emailed back and fourth with the leasing manager multiple times and it took weeks for people to be sent out.
I eventually went into the office to talk with someone and request maintenance be sent my apartment that day due to the dishwasher and dryer and was told “they’re only doing emergencies today”.
On top of this I was locked out of my apartment one night, at 11pm, due to my key fob activation not working. I called the emergency maintenance and no one called, texted, or showed up. Luckily my boyfriend was able to come home from work to get me into the apartment hours later.
The fix for all of this was to promise me a $100 gift card, to only actually give me $50. No talk of comping rent or speeding up the fix of the other problems.
Instead of trying to send people off with money, maybe have issues addressed properly for your tenants. I cannot turn to emails anymore because my concerns have been ignored or pushed off for way too long. This is a warning DO NOT MOVE HERE.
I don’t know if this is an issue with management or with the new company that has bought the complex but this is an absolute mess.
