awful

I do not recommend living here. I lived in a sister property owned by Monarch Investment and Management Group took over and since then, the property has become unsafe, poorly maintained, and stressful. There have been multiple vehicle break-ins, including broken windows, stolen wallets, and attempted thefts, yet management does very little to address security concerns. Random individuals often wander the property at night, making residents uncomfortable.
The grounds and common areas are poorly… maintained—garbage frequently overflows, staircases have tripping hazards, hallways are dark, and water takes a long time to heat. Noise levels are high due to thin walls and loud neighbors.
Communication with management is extremely difficult. Both the property manager and leasing managers are hard to reach which require multiple attempts before responding, and the front desk is disorganized. Rent has increased since the corporate takeover, but no meaningful improvements have been made to the property. Money seems to be spent on community events rather than on making the property safe and livable.
Overall, this place was fine before the corporate takeover. Now, it feels unsafe, poorly managed, and not worth the cost, stress, or time. Management’s public responses to complaints seem performative rather than genuine, focusing on appearances while ignoring real problems. Stay away.

Getting better

John, the maintenance supervisor, has done an amazing job turning this place around. Whoever was in charge prior struggled with getting issues handled timely, if they were handled at all. Since John took over, turnaround time on maintenance tickets had improved tenfold and he takes the time to interact with the residents and let us know he truly cares about handling things correctly.

Poor living experience

Have lived in the apartment for 2 weeks and ever since day one of moving in we have had nothing but problems...

I have had to move into 2 DIFFERENT units because the cleaning and inspections done to the apartments are poor af. Spare room flooded with water causing mildew and mold, dishwasher wouldn't start, garbage disposal broken, closet door track bent and broken, towel handle broken, seals and cracks in the building foundation etc. I can go on and on...

So far this is unacceptable and it's… very disrespectful on management. I would not recommend these apartments to anybody and if you currently live here like myself, I would NOT resign a lease with them. The lack of empathy and any sort of compensation from management is the worst I've seen.

The only good thing I can say is the apartments are in a beautiful area, quiet and the maintenance team is great and responsive.

Top notch maintenance

There are several reasons I have enjoyed living here. The price is reasonable. The area is safe and quiet. Every member of the leasing team I have interacted with has been outgoing, friendly, and helpful. Most recently, I was again reminded how awesome the maintenance team is.

Friday morning I placed a maintenance request as the AC had stopped functioning Thursday afternoon. I didn't expect there to be any action taken until the following week as the request was submitted so late in the week… .

I came home from the office and saw the note from the maintenance team. Not only had they fixed the AC issue, but they also turned off the box fan I had running in a window, removed it, and closed the window for me.

I could not imagine a better resolution, in a more timely fashion, or with more consideration. A+ service all around!

My move in went smooth. Everything was explained to me. The view from my apartment is beautiful. Adriana was very helpful.
