They will make you pay $65 for “private gated parking”, might as well not pay it when the gate is up 80% of the time anyway for everyone to park in. I have called numerous times. It’s ridiculous. I had severe water damage to my bathroom ceiling due to a leak in the apartment above and they just spray painted over it. Not even paint, spray paint. They just want your money by any means. Don’t choose them.

DO NOT LIVE HERE
If you don't mind sharing a building with roaches, water and bed bugs along with some shady residents who vandalize the building regularly then by all means this is the place for you. If not find another place and not a Mac Property. They are headquartered in Chicago and do not care about any of their tenants or buildings and the apartments are so over priced for the BS you deal with! You've been warned

ROACH AND BED BUG INFESTED/STABBING AT ENTRANCE OF COMPLEX
I cannot believe this apartment hasn't been deemed unlivable yet. I moved into my apartment on September 2021 and it is November 2021, and I already want to move out. Since I've moved in, I've found bug bites all over my body. Come to find out, my unit is infested with bed bugs. A roach infestation occurred in October and even after the first spraying (might I add, took them 8 days to respond to the issue), roaches are still present in my apartment. I allowed the property to try and resolve the... issue and they did not. When I requested to terminate my lease due to the ongoing roach infestation, bed bugs, and concern for safety (will go into detail later), they continued to avoid my request and put in another work order to have my place sprayed again. Also, a stabbing occurred at the entrance of the complex in mid October. After having to step over the left behind blood from the incident that occurred that morning, I was informed by several tenants of what had happened and their frustration with the property not informing us of the details of the incident, as well as several tenants plans to break their lease due to increasing crime rates in the area, in addition to multiple issues with the complex. The only email we received in regards to the stabbing incident stated, "the biohazard fluid will be professionally cleaned but that they were unsure of the timeline for the "biohazard fluid" to be cleaned up." Also, I have been unable to do my laundry in the laundry facility in the basement and have wasted so much money and time having to re-wash and re-dry soaking loads of laundry, that I now have to take my laundry elsewhere to complete. When I requested to break my lease a second time, I expressed that the ongoing issues with my unit as well as concern for my safety and well-being has not only taken a physical but mental toll on me, their response was "The lease termination fee is equal to two months’ rent is stated in your lease." It is an absolutely appalling response. I would like to see the manager live in my apartment for a day and see how he responds to living with roaches, constant bug bites, paranoia and loss of appetite due to pest issues, loss of sleep due to safety concerns and having to shove a chair underneath the door knob every night for some sense of security. Truly unbelievable. Do yourself a favor and spend an extra 100$ a month to live in a clean and safe place. Do not live here.

NO AC
I’ve been without AC for days. It’s supposed to be an emergency maintenance request and they can’t bring anybody to fix my AC.

Everything about this apartment is an inconvenience
From the start, this apartment has been a big inconvenience. The staff who prepped the apartment before my move-in did a terrible job. There were paint splatters all over the floor, broken tile in the bathroom and dysfunctional appliances in the kitchen. The exposed floorboards throughout the apartment let in all sorts of dust and make it impossible to keep the floors clean.
The units themselves lack basic features. There is very little counter space in the kitchen, very few electrical outlets... throughout the apartment with NO outlets in the bathroom.
It's an old building, and no matter how much they say it's "renovated," something is always broken. One of the two elevators is frequently out of order, sometimes both at once. The common areas look nothing like they do in the photos. Most of the original furniture has been stolen or gone missing and residents frequently leave trash or other belongings in the lobby and in the hallway areas. The "fitness center" has had a gaping hole in the ceiling since I moved in over a year ago.
It's unbearably hot during the winter when the radiators are working. Be prepared to run your AC units year-round with little-to-no control to regulate the temperature.
The laundry situation is infuriating. All residents must use the basement-level laundry room, where there are only about a dozen machines for the whole building to use. Half of them are almost always out of order, leaving even fewer options. During my residency, I put in two to three requests for them to be repaired, to no avail.
To top it off, once you finally find a working machine, be prepared to find that you don't have enough money on your laundry card to even do a load – you then must walk or drive several blocks to a different building to reload it. It is extremely frustrating, inefficient, and inconvenient.
There has been a big influx of crime around the area, so much so that the building had to hire outside security to sit in the lobby and they lock the side door of the building at night. For some time they were requiring residents to show their ID upon entry.
You could find a much nicer apartment for the same or an even better price.
