Wornall Place Apartments

I rented here for a year and it was not a good experience. The climate control is horrible, especially in the summertime when my room would easily reach high 80s even with the AC on full blast. We kept getting maintenance over to fix it but it never made any difference. So we put in window ACs instead which we were told was “frowned upon”… LOL as if we cared at that point.

There is also NO overhead lighting in any of the bedrooms even though there are light switches as if there was supposed to... be? Very odd. My biggest complaint however was that before we moved here, we asked them if it would be ok that I have an EV that needs to be charged nightly, and they told us in person that that would be fine. However, after living here for a couple months the landlords changed the lease to disallow that, forcing me to stop. Lesson learned to get things in writing if it’s important! We lived in a 2 bedroom townhouse for 2 years here during the last 2 years of college. Overall the management is by far the best asset to this place. Clint is so helpful. He would come over at 9 PM to fix things, our A/C went out during one of the summers and he immediately got us a new, more efficient one the next day.
Rent was always reasonable, and the water and trash are split throughout the complex based on square footage. Having a private garage was also very nice and added some extra... storage space you don't get at most apartments.

Walls can be a little thin at times. Our main reason for moving was 1. improving our living situation, but 2. our neighbors the second year were very inconsiderate with noise late in the night.

Overall it's not luxurious apartments, but they are very reasonably priced and have good attentive management. Read More
