DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!

I lived at these apartments and wanted to share my experience so future renters can make an informed decision.

After the tornado damage, the building developed serious moisture issues that, in my experience, were never properly resolved. The hallways often smelled strongly of mold and mildew, and mushrooms were growing outside my apartment door because of the ongoing moisture. There were also leaks and water damage that raised concerns about the condition of the property.

These conditions made… me worry about the health and safety of the building. I would encourage anyone considering renting here to inspect the property carefully, pay close attention to any signs of water damage or mold, and ask questions about what repairs have been completed.

This was not a positive living experience for me, and I personally would not recommend living here until these issues have been fully addressed.

unprofessional and incompetent

They never pick their calls no matter what number you call, what time of the day you call or how many times you call them. I had a tour scheduled for 10:30, I am here waiting, the guy in the bookstore said he hasn’t seen them today, the notice on their door said they’d be back by 9, this is 10:50 and no one is still here. Ridiculous and unprofessional. A complete waste of time. If this is how they are before you start living here, I wonder how they would be when you do. It’s 11am and still no… show. I definitely do not recommend.

Not actually located in delmar loop

I stay there a for a while. It’s actually not located on Delmar but rather 2 miles for it. Several nights I would hear gun shots as it’s not located in the safest part of town. It takes a long time for them to fix things.I had to put in 20 service request before my refrigerator was finally fixed a year later. The elevator was constantly breaking down which was embarrassing when I invited guess over. Someone destroyed the entrance glass several times and it wasn’t fixed for about a month. They… change management all the time so you never know who your dealing with in the lease office. Rent is increase ever year. My rent went up 40$ the first time. They will lie to you to try and get you to sign a new lease don’t believe anything not written. The rooms are very small for the prices they charge. My room even a huge pillar in the living room due to the building being so old. Fire alarm drills are performed at 3:00am in the morning during the winter on week days. If you don’t renew your lease within 60 days of it ending they will auto renew it for you. The close metro link is forest park. 3 people have died at forest park since I stayed here. This is a hard past and I strongly advise you to rent somewhere else!
