Oak Forest Apartments

I’ve been here for about 3 years now and the only reason I’ve stayed is because of the price since everything else is going up drastically. Very nice quiet community not many issues or safety concerns HOWEVER.. it is very outdated. Maintenance is so slow. In the summer time there are huge spiders ever summer since I’ve been here. The leasing lady is a sassy rude lady who will write you passive aggressive letters. The wood is rotting. I’ve had an issue with critters in my ceiling and they did not... do anything to fix the root cause of the problem. Other than that it’s fine. You get 2 pools! Oh but you need a wrist band to go. Great location, had some historic style to it. Easy access to convenient stores, shopping, dining etc. Close to great school districts. They have been making many updates. I have been here 6 years and have seen all the changes. Neighbors are great and mostly quiet. I have moved around in different areas and neighbors have always been nice. Always addresses my concerns within reason very friendly staff always gives my daughter and her friends popsicles when they’re swimming. Apartments are spacious and very courteous.

Poor management and no maintenance. Calls go ignored and appliances and problems never fixed. The Sansone family only cares about collecting your rent, the buildings can fall apart.

Pool was never opened due to poor management, rude staff. Apartment is full of bug and roaches. I wont recommend it.
